Schuiteman: real-time profit optimization with data analytics

Challenges

The analyses we performed for organizations were mostly done in spreadsheet applications and based on audit files. With each new assignment, the spreadsheet applications and audit files had to be built Bottom-up.

We wanted to move more toward standardized top-down analyses. We wanted to further modernize and automate those analyses by applying data analytics to strengthen audit quality. Finally, we wanted to take a first step in detaching the audit from fixed weeks in the year with the goal of being continuously engaged in audit.
