Challenges

Rivertech works with many parties simultaneously: office, crew, suppliers, subcontractors and tour operators. With 40 river cruise ships in operation, it was difficult to track operations, reports and status information centrally. The organization needed one place where everyone involved could work together, existing systems could communicate with each other and everyone would have visibility 24/7. This allowed Rivertech to get a better grip on operations, report better to clients and support the company's growth.

24/7 insight for all stakeholders

Office, crew, suppliers and customers have continuous insight into operations, reports and status information.

One portal for collaboration

All parties involved work from one central environment. This prevents loose communication and makes operations more controllable.

Better control of work and invoices

Having insightful records of work allows Rivertech to better adjust, report and audit invoices.

Rivertech

"With one integrated portal, we have a grip on our data, operations and growth."

Why Peacock?

Peacock was chosen because the platform is user-friendly, complete and links well with existing Microsoft-based systems. The organization was not looking for a separate solution alongside its current way of working, but one integrated platform that connects all parties involved.

From the beginning, Peacock immersed itself in the processes behind the operation. This was necessary because the office, crew, suppliers, subcontractors, captains, engineers and customers all play a role in daily operations.

The combination of process knowledge, technical links and a scalable approach gave the confidence to continue building together for more overview, better collaboration and grip on data.

The solution

Together with Peacock, a portal was built in which all parties involved come together. Office, crew, suppliers, subcontractors, captains and engineers get insight into operations, reports and status information through one central environment.

The portal is linked to the ERP system and the ticket system. This creates a single up-to-date overview that allows the organization to make adjustments, monitor activities and report better to clients.

The Nightwatch system has now also been integrated. This records safety rounds on board via checkpoints and provides 24/7 visibility for the office, crew and customers.

The collaboration

The collaboration was pleasant because Peacock quickly understood the processes and was actively involved in designing the portal. The focus was not on the technology, but on how the operation could be organized in a smarter and clearer way.

Through short lines of communication and a practical approach, the portal grew step by step with the needs of the organization. At first, the focus was on overview and cooperation, followed by links to existing systems and extensions such as Nightwatch.

This approach ensures more efficient operations and more control over operations, reports and data. The portal supports current operations and provides a foundation for further growth.
