Challenges

In recent years, Takkenkamp has invested heavily in ICT solutions to make work easier for everyone both on the construction site and in the office. The challenge, for example, was in the accounting of hours. The hours were submitted by employees through to app. This is a fully automated process, but we ran into the problem that it was very difficult to check whether these were the actual hours. It took an enormous amount of time to check this and it was often omitted or done randomly based on the track and trace system. We wanted to have a better control on the written hours and we also wanted to check whether employees arrived at the construction site on time.

Real-time hours insight

Peacock's solution provides real-time daily visibility into submitted hours, which has enabled Company Y to reduce erroneous time entries by 15% and more efficiently manage personnel costs.

Automatic cost analysis

With Peacock's automated cost analysis, Organization Y can immediately see where cost savings are possible, which has led to an 8% savings in operational expenses within three months.

Rapid prototyping for custom solutions

Peacock delivers a working prototype within days, allowing Company Z to test and optimize faster, which has reduced the time-to-market of new processes by 20%.

"Peacock gave us a quick grip on timekeeping with creative, pragmatic solutions for SMEs."

Why Peacock?

"We already knew Peacock from the FCA tool that was implemented with us in conjunction with Schuiteman Accountants. It is an innovative company that responds quickly and thinks along creatively. Our SME background demands immediate solutions without extensive plans, and Peacock fits in well with this. We analyze the problem together, determine the direction, and Peacock quickly delivers a prototype that we further optimize."

The collaboration

"Ultimately, Peacock's solution has given us complete control over our timesheet. It still happens regularly that too many or too few hours are submitted, but this can now be seen on a daily basis without taking extra time. This results in significant savings. What we want to convey to our employees is that we are a good employer who pays well, but that we do expect hours to be submitted carefully."

What do employees think?

"Building support for this solution was not very difficult. In the end, it saves time on administration and saves money. There was a positive response to that."

Steven's advice

"The most important thing for an RPA solution is that you deploy it in those areas where a mainstream ICT solution is very difficult to achieve. Peacock is realistic about this and looks very closely at the process to be automated. They understand the business and that is perhaps the most important thing. In addition, the aftercare is also well taken care of."
